Welcome to MIT Tech Reunions! To help you get the most out of your weekend, we’ve provided essential tools and resources for navigating the campus and reunion events below.
MIT Alumni Events App
- Access your personalized Tech Reunions schedule
- Receive real-time event notifications
- View detailed campus maps
MIT ID for Alumni via the Tim Ticket App
- Get your digital MIT ID for Alumni via the Tim Ticket App
- Print a physical MIT ID for Alumni at kiosks across campus
- Enjoy expanded campus access
Setting up your MIT ID in advance will enhance your weekend experience, but our Tech Reunions staff will also ensure you have access to all event spaces. Please note, some doors may remain locked during Commencement activities.
Setting Up Digital MIT ID for Alumni
- Download the MIT Tim Ticket App
- Log in with your Infinite Connection account
- Add your digital MIT ID to your mobile device’s digital wallet to use at tap readers across campus. Apple Devices, Android Devices
- Please wait 30 minutes once added to your wallet for the activation to complete.
Printing a Physical MIT ID
- Once you have set up your digital MIT ID, tap “MIT ID” in the app
- Tap “Get a physical card”
- Tap “Generate QR Code”
- Visit a kiosk and follow the on-screen instructions. You may either hold your QR code six inches in front of the kiosk's scanner, or type your last name and code, as displayed below the QR image in your app, on the kiosk screen.
- Your new card will take 2–3 minutes to print.
Tech Reunions Name Badge
- Your Tech Reunions name badge with a personalized QR code is your ticket to reunion events throughout the weekend!
- Enjoy campus access and perks throughout the weekend
Pick up your name badge at the Check-In and Registration desks.

Log In with Your Infinite Connection Account
An Infinite Connection (IC) account is needed to access the apps for Tech Reunions weekend.
We recommend downloading and logging into all apps before you arrive on campus. If you use Duo 2-Factor Authentication and experience issues when logging in, please contact help@alum.mit.edu for assistance. Please note that password resets can take up to 10 minutes to process.

Tech Reunions Notifications and Campus Access Updates
There are several ways alumni and guests can stay updated throughout the weekend.
MIT Alumni Events Mobile App
Stay informed about event location changes, rain delays, event reminders, and helpful tips. Make sure to enable push notifications when you download the app.
Daily Tech Reunions Email
Start your day each morning with the daily Tech Reunions email, which includes a daily schedule at a glance, event location changes, and reminders and updates.
MIT Alert Text Messages
In the event of an emergency, MIT’s Emergency Management department will send simultaneous text and email messages to all reunion attendees who opted in while registering. These messages will include campus access changes requiring MIT ID taps to enter and timely alerts for the MIT community.
